Thanks for checking out this incredible 2012 Streetglide with only 5K careful miles. This bike has perfect paint and chrome and is free of dings, dents, or scratches. There are a few bug bites on the fork legs and other than that the bike is like new. The Deep Purple Flame paint job was an expensive option and it has a really cool look. The prior owner installed some nice grips and a throatty set of slip ons. This awesome machine runs and drives as good as it looks and needs nothing. A fresh service has been done so it's ready to ride anywhere. The 103" twin cam motor has plenty of power and the six speed tranny is silkey smooth. Just find your tunes, set your cruise, and you can ride all day in total comfort. Local buyers just add tax and tag and you can ride out. No additional doc or dealer fees. Financing available for "Florida" buyers and local trades will be considered. If you are out of the area I can assist with quality shipping to most US locations. We have been selling showroom quality vehicles for 27 years and have a 100% ebay rating so you can buy with total confidence. Streetglides are the hottest bike on the planet and when you fine one of this quality with low miles you know it won't be around long. Don't miss out this incredible bike is special. If you have questions or would like to own this beautiful machine call Steve Shay at (386)689-8900. Thanks and ride safe!

Top-Selling Motorcycles in US in 2013: Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special and Breakout

Tue, 22 Apr 2014

It’s almost automatic every time we write about Harley-Davidson that the company’s critics jump out to say how its bikes are heavy or assembled from parts bin leftovers or technologically decades behind its competitors. What these naysayers either forget or completely ignore is that Harley-Davidson motorcycles continue to sell. In its first quarter 2014 financial report, Harley-Davidson reported a 5.8% increase in motorcycle sales including 3.0% in the U.S.

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.
