This bike has been trailer kept and well taken care of. , Dual Halogen Head Lights available There is a tour Pack for and additional $250, I have an extended fender Bib, Extra Pipes, and Lower cubbies. Only serious inquirers as this is a great bike and is not a keys bike.......Chrome intact Even at 18K its $5000 less then market I need to sell for health reasons. Q1 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Sales Down 14.7% from 2011
Wed, 01 May 2013U.S. motorcycle sales were down 14.7% over the first quarter compared to the same period last year, reports the Motorcycle Industry Council. The industry group, which collected data from 20 reporting manufacturers, says American consumers bought 93,375 motorcycles and scooters in the first three months of 2013, down from the 109,425 vehicles purchased in the same period of 2012.
Harley-Davidson to Assemble More Models in India
Mon, 04 Mar 2013Harley-Davidson is expanding its assembly operations in India, increasing the number of models imported as complete knockdown kits to nine. Harley-Davidson will now assemble the Fat Boy, Fat Boy Special and Heritage Softail Classic in India, joining six models already being assembled in India. The move follows India’s new budget which increases import duties on motorcycles with engines larger than 800cc to 75% from the previous rate of 60%.

The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.
