Harley-Davidson Touring description

WOW... This is a 2011 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic Shriners edition.
96 cubic inch motor with 6 speed transmission. 36752 miles. NO ABS brakes and NO alarm.
2 keys included.

This bike was purchased at a dealer only auto auction straight from the insurance company.
The bike runs and rides around my shop and I have taken it up to 55 mph to test the bike.
I do not suggest this bike is ridden until it is fixed.

I have already rebuilt the title and it is no longer salvage. The bike comes with a Nevada rebuilt title
and can be titled in all 50 states with no issues. All the title work is done.

The forks are straight and there is no frame damage. The inner and outer fairings are damaged beyond repair and will need replacing. The radio seems to work good but turns off occasionally.
The tour pack bottom is completely blown out and is not repairable. The front fender, fuel Tank, left saddlebag, rear fender and side covers are all use able. The damage is cosmetic.

Please look at the pictures and understand the damage and what is required to fix the bike.
I have repaired hundreds of these bikes and usually turn them into street glides.

I lost my paint and body guy and until I get another painter I have to sell these bikes unfinished.

I do the best I can to describe the damage but I am sure I missed several small things and do not make any guarantees. The bike is sold "as is with no warranty"

I encourage all potential buyers to call me at 702-743-9068 if you have any questions.
I have rebuilt over 400 Harley touring bike and can answer any question you have.

Nevada buyers will be required to pay 8.15% sales tax.

More Miles From Dunlop’s 2nd-Gen American Elite Tires

Thu, 14 Mar 2013

Dunlop says its second-generation of American Elite tires provide increased mileage, and come in a variety of new styles. Designed with Dunlop’s MT Multi-Tread technology, with a long-wearing center compound and grippier compounds on each edge, the new American Elite’s should pique the interest of Harley FL owners. The second-gen series of American Elites are also now available with narrow white bar sidewalls and wide white walls along with the original black sidewall, providing FL owners more choices.  For riders of Harley-Davidson FL Touring bikes, model year 2009 and later, the new second-generation American Elite tires with Multi-Tread are available in 130/80B17 and 180/65B16 black sidewall, 130/80B17 and 180/65B16 narrow white sidewall, 130/90B16 and 180/65B16 wide white sidewall, with the 130/70B18 front tire available for select CVO bikes. For recent-model Softail owners, including models such as the Fat Boy, the MH90-21, 140/75R17 and 200/50R17 sizes of American Elite are also available.

Happy Birthday Elvis!

Fri, 08 Jan 2010

Born on January 8th, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Aaron Presley would have been 75 years ago today if he was still alive today.  As a tribute to “The King” of Rock and Roll, the Harley-Davidson Museum has created a special exhibit, expanding on the semi-permanent collection from Elvis that has been on display since the museum was opened in 2008. The bill of sale, insurance, and registration papers for the 1956 Harley-Davidson KH pictured above will be on display along with the motorcycle that was owned by Elvis and the Graceland Museum has loaned some rare photos for the occasion. Along with Cadillac’s, Elvis had a passion for motorcycles but especially loved his Hogs and rode Harley’s in many of his films, including Roustabout (1964), Viva Las Vegas (1964), Clambake (1967) and Stay Away Joe (1968).
