If you are looking for a showroom condition bike, this one's not for you. However, if you are looking for a unique Harley experience that performs as well or better than new, a bike that can comfortably handle a 2-up trip to Sturgis and back to Brooklyn, this is a damn good choice.
Purchased new in 2011 -never used as a law enforcement bike- from Moroney's HD in New Windsor NY, bike was prepped by the pros at Moroney's for 2-up riding while retaining all the heavy duty goodies and the air adjust saddle (the most comfortable seat Harley makes). Add ons include: Mustang pillion, HD removable backrest, mini floor boards, HD heated grips, Kenwood marine band receiver w/ hogtune speakers. Bike comes fitted with Progressive springs and shocks for superior and handling, and a S&S cam for improved acceleration and top end performance. Bike recently underwent $3300 service and is in excellent mechanical condition. Bike was serviced by Alex Lerner at SLNYC one of the most capable Harley mechanics out there. I can set up a conversation w/ him for interested buyers. As you can tell from pictures visually bike looks like a Street Glide but will perform much better and save you $$$ as well. Owner of Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson Found in Japan
Wed, 02 May 2012Harley-Davidson representatives in Japan have identified the owner of the motorcycle lost in last year’s tsunami but later found on a remote beach in Canada. The 29-year-old owner, Ikuo Yokoyama, lives in Yamamoto, Japan, in Miyagi Prefecture, the region hardest hit by the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Yokoyama survived the disaster but lost three family members and is still living in temporary accommodations.
Harley-Davidson Dealers Top 2012 Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index
Mon, 07 May 2012Harley-Davidson dealerships topped the rankings for the 2012 edition of the Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index, an industry benchmarking study examining how well dealerships treat customers, and turning shoppers into buyers. The Pied Piper PSI rated different manufacturers’ dealerships in a number of categories to produce an overall score. The study was conducted between July 2011 and April 2012 with 1,653 anonymous “mystery shoppers” gathering information at different dealerships across the U.S.
