Harley-Davidson Touring description

I really hate to sell this sweet ride, but doctors say I must for health reasons!

The Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic Electra Glide sets the standard for long-haul touring comfort and convenience. A four speaker, 80-watt Harmon/Kardon Advanced Audio System (AM/FM Radio, CD Player, CB Radio), one-piece, two-up Electra Glide Classic comfort stitch seat with passenger backrest, adjustable fairing-mounted air deflectors, vented removable fairing lowers with integral glove boxes, spacious Tour-Pak carrier and injection-molded hard saddlebags, and standard electronic cruise control, all combine comfort and function as styling touches that make it a Harley-Davidson. In addition, this bike has Custom Paint, Heel/Toe Shifter, Highway Pegs, Chromed Dash, Drivers Backrest, Security System, ABS Brakes, 6-Speed Transmission, and 2 helmets with mikes (can talk between driver/passenger). Serviced last Fall (2015, Long Branch, NJ) and has had all services when required. Has small scratch in fairing (see #10 picture), otherwise in immaculate condition! The motorcycle has been garage kept since new.

New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.

Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results

Tue, 22 Jul 2014

Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.
