Harley-Davidson Touring description

NOTE: In pictures is the STOCK seat which is NOT sold with the bike, it will only come with the SUNDOWNER Touring seat (Seen in the last picture).

For Sale is my 2010 Harley-Davidson FLHX Street Glide. It only has 5,XXX miles (will go up slightly), and I am the second owner. It is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, with no issues at all. Tires and brakes have a lot of life left, fluids changed this spring. Has never been tipped over, or down at all.

Here is a list of some of the adds/extras:

- ABS brakes
- Cruise Control
-Am/FM/CD/AUX radio
- Rinehart dual exhaust (sounds awesome)
- K&N Air Filter
- Screaming Eagle Super tuner (Stage 1 tuned and dynoed)
- Quick-Detachable Passenger Backrest
- Sundowner touring seat (see in the last picture, note: It does NOT come with stock seat)
- Highway pegs
- Rear air shocks (currently set to 40psi)
- Screaming eagle blow-up storage bubble.
- Owners Manual, 1k service receipt, dyno receipt.

I still owe on the bike (very easy though, my credit union is right next to my house, they just have to stamp the title).
Kbb books it out (with no adds and an expected mileage of 28,000) at over $15k, so $14650 is more than a fair price in this condition, and these adds, with 5k miles

Who To Watch In The AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

The Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series is set to kick off this weekend at Daytona International Raceway, and the competition looks set to be as close as ever. In the contest’s three-year history, the combined margin of victory stands at just over two tenths of a second. And last year’s dogfight saw ninth position take the checkered flag less than eight tenths removed from the victory. Each previous contest has developed into a full-blown drafting war, with the class’ evenly matched machinery testing the tactical acumen of its pilots as they negotiate the high banks within inches of one another.

Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care

Tue, 26 Mar 2013

A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson  owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.

Want to Buy the Pope’s Harley?

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.
