nice bike! Our loss is your gain. We have so many new parts on this bike. With the miles, we always check the tensioners and this bike needed a new set. We had new take off parts from another bike build so we installed new tensioners, new oil pump, new cam chain, new lifters, new adjustable pushrods, new inner cam bearings, new cam plate, & new cams. This bike runs super! 96" motor &
6-speed. The Street Glide comes standard with lowered
suspension, low profile seat, black custom wheels, trimless fenders, & much
more. The 2009's have the all new frame with wider rear tire, new Isolated
Drive System for smoother feel, 6 gallon fuel tank, smooth center console,
larger 11.8" rotors, Brembo 4-piston brake calipers, & Electronic
Throttle Control. Extras include Screamin' Eagle Heavy breather air
cleaner kit, Screamin' Eagle Race tuned, full true duals exhaust w/ 4" mufflers and contrast cut black tips, chrome front end kit/lower legs, chrome cowbells, chrome axle covers, factory security system, new Sony radio w/ USB, new J&M 7.25" speakers with tweeters, painted inner fairing, chrome headbolt covers, engine guard with built in pegs, chrome trasnmission covers and interface, chrome tapper block covers, chrome motor base covers, chrome voltage regulator cover, skull cam cover, Kuryakyn chrome grips, passenger pegs, chrome deluxe primary cover, air horn, chrome zombie windshield trim, & low profile smoked windshield. Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Fri, 13 Dec 2013The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.
