Terms and Conditions

NOTE TO ALL DEALERS: We do not wholesale vehicles; this will be a retail sale. You will be required to pay a documentation fee and title fee. Cash or cashier's check is the only acceptable form of payment. Please bid accordingly.

Winning bidder must contact us by phone within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The deposit is payable through Paypal or, balance will be in cash or cashier's check. The remainder is due within 3 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 2006 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing, your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.

Buyer is responsible for pickup of this vehicle within 7 days of auction end. You may pick up your vehicle on any day except Sundays. You will need to schedule an appointment to pick up your car. A $20.00 per day storage fee will be added for every day after 7 days. All vehicles come with one key unless expressed otherwise in the description. Please understand this is a pre-owned vehicle. It may have chips, dings, scratches and some other imperfections not listed. Our Michigan dealer license allows us to do all paper work at our location only. The vehicle title will be mailed to you.  We do not accept trade ins on eBay vehicles.

We do not handle any shipping of vehicles. The buyer is responsible for obtaining quote, hiring and payment to any shipping company they choose. Max Auto is not liable for any damages incurred by any such shipping company.

If you are not sure about something, Please ASK. Do not assume anything not listed is included. We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback. NOTE: The documentation fee is not negotiable and will be added on every car sold whether you are an individual or a dealer. You will receive the title in the mail 10-15 business days after transaction is complete. The title will be transferred into your name or business name prior to being mailed, no exceptions.

The high bidder is required to provide the following information within 24 hours of auction end: full name, address, county, home phone number, e-mail address, proof of insurance, date of birth, and driver's license number. Fee and Tax Information:

There is a dealer fee of $100.00 and a title transfer fee of $15.00 and a sales tax that is 6% of the cost of the vehicle. If you are going to Transfer an existing plate to the newly purchased vehicle there will be an $8.00 fee. I will need proof of insurance to issue a NEW plate and or transferring an existing plate. MICHIGAN residents must pay sales tax. Title will be mailed to you.
