Harley-Davidson Touring description

This is the 105th anniversary edition with the paint color known as "Gun Metal Blue" with 45,530 actual miles.  I have all of the service records showing all periodic maintenance being performed at a qualified HD dealership at 5,000 mile intervals, as directed in the Owner's Manual.  The original battery gave up the ghost, whereby, I installed a new battery on 03/15/2015.  The following items have been added to the bike after my initial purchase in 2008:

  • 3 pouch bag at the bottom of the windshield
  • 2 storage bags, one on each side in front of the side packs
  • chrome rails on top of both side packs and rear tour pack
  • storage compartment bag inside of top lid of tour pack
  • complete tool kit in storage bag
  • one trickle charger with harness hidden under the seat
  • black canvas zippered travel bags fitted for side packs and tour pack
  • Rinehart exhaust system (sounds very bold)

I've ridden this bike through Red River (NM), Yellowstone, the Black Hills, the Waterton Mountain Range in Canada, Sturgis, and numerous other places.  I've ridden 850 miles in one day on several occasions because it is so comfortable & smooth to ride.  If you have any questions, contact me at your convenience.

A Man of LOVE

Fri, 24 Oct 2008

I had a unique opportunity this week to sit down with Oliver Shokouh, the founder of the Love Ride, only days before the 25th anniversary of the purportedly largest one-day rally in the world, kicks-off this coming Sunday, October 26. First and foremost I’m very grateful for Oliver to set aside over half an hour of his precious time so close to the event. Not only does he head-up this massive event, he’s also busy running the very busy and successful Harley-Davidson/Buell of Glendale (California).

Tom Cruises on his Confederate Hellcat A man known for his epic enthusiasm (see video after the jump!), now has something he can really get excited about. What would have been a Mission Impossible for millions of other admiring Top Guns, Tommy has made a reality. The Color of Money without a doubt had something to do with Cruise rolling up to a movie premier on this, his new $70,000 Confederate Hellcat.
