Most everything on this bike has been replaced! New factory rebuilt motor by Jims,still under factory warranty. New wheel bearings, new clutch with a Harley centrifugal pressure plate, rebuilt primary, new belt and rear pulley, new 10" Cubby apes with new Harley Aileron grips, new neck bearings, new Pro Glide motor mount and swing arm bushings, new bearings in tranny, new fuel pump,New Kuryakyn Diamond cut headlight with 100 watt Hella bulb, new Avon 200 rear tire, 4k on front tire, new Harley battery, even new batteries in the fobs, fresh paint 2 years ago by O's Custom Paint in Bartlett. The seat is custom made by Danny Gray covered in leather with a Danny Gray rider back rest. Even the starter and fuel pump relays are new. Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Fri, 13 Dec 2013The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.
