Harley-Davidson Touring description

Custom lowered & stretched 2007 Road King with fiberglass "Extended 6 in Stretched Dragger kit" - fuel injected 103 ci Stage 2 Twin Cam with 6 speed trans - has 22893 original miles and runs very strong.
Started life as a stock 2007 Road King. Converted this to an extended stretched Big Wheel Dragger style touring bike last year.

Upgrades include, chrome 60 spoke custom wheels, tall and wide 23" X 3.5" in front and 16" in back with new Avon Venom tires. Flame accent rider and passenger floorboards, mirrors, grips and pedals. SS braided lines, 1 1/4" Chubby 18" Apes handlebars and all custom turn signals, spotlights and headlight. Bad Dad style stretched Bagger upgrade, includes stretched saddlebags, fenders (full rear fender - no overlay), tank shrouds and stretched nacelle. Motor is a big bore TC96 with Screaming Eagle cam, lifters, adjustable pushrods and Revtech DFO fuel pak. Custom HD Seat and LA Chopper LAF exhaust. Black exhaust wraps just added. Over $12k invested in converting this Road King to a BadDad Bagger. I have about 1500 trouble free miles on the conversion.

This is not a prissy magazine style overdone stereo on wheels that cost $30, 40K. It is a daily rider, no sound system, utility flat black paintjob on a hard riding sweet looking, reliable modern bike. Mostly flat or gloss black paint with just right amount of chrome - wipe it off, fire it up and hit the road.

Motorcycles at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show

Mon, 28 Sep 2009

Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
