PM for more pics About 2 years ago an intake bolt came loose and got sucked into the motor and did slight damage to the head and piston. After that happened, the cylinders were bored .020 over, new Pistons, rings, and the cylinder head was professionally repaired with new valves by Larrys Motorcycle Machine. Since the rebuild I have never used nitrous (too much hassle) and have put about 3000 miles on it. I'm selling it due to lack of interest by both myself and my wife. We used to ride two up and she lost interest. It's a great bike, a real attention getter. Probably one of the loudest, clearest sound systems you will ever hear! This bike was featured in Road Iron magazine in 2013. This bike was built 4 years ago. It does have some miles on it. It is not in perfect condition. It's been well taken care of, still turns lots of heads and still looks great! It has some flaws. 26" front wheel, full air ride, stupid loud custom audio system, 124" motor. More Evidence of a Harley-Davidson Pan America 975 Emerges
Mon, 17 Oct 2022Earlier this year, we wrote about how signs of a Pan America 975 were mistakenly mentioned in an official Harley-Davidson web page for an accessory locking fuel cap. Up until shortly after our article went live, the page listed the fuel cap as being compatible with the RA1250 (Pan America 1250) and RA1250S (Pan America 1250 Special) as well as two unannounced models: the RA975 and RA965S, which we assumed to be Pan America models powered by the 975cc version of the Revolution Max engine, like the one equipped on the Nightster. Motorcycle.com has now obtained further evidence of the existence of middleweight versions of Harley-Davidson’s adventure-tourer, once again from Harley itself, as well as the U.S.

Fri, 01 Nov 2013Motorcycle and scooter sales in the U.S. in 2013 remain consistent with last year’s figures, according to data released by the Motorcycle Industry Council. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.

The study measures the overall satisfaction of motorcyclists with their new helmet in three key factors: ventilation, face shield, and design and styling; which consist of 11 attributes: quietness; ventilation/air flow; de-fogging; face shield ability to keep wind out; face shield ability to resist scratching; ease of replacing face shield; scratch resistance of shell; color/graphic design; weight; ease of fastening the strap; and fit and comfort.
