2007 CVO Road King Screamin’ Eagle built by the famed Roger Goldammer of Goldammer Cycle Works in Kelowna, BC.  A one owner bike purchased new from Heritage Harley-Davidson in Edmonton, AB.  Roger is renowned as an engineering and artistic genius, winning the World Championship of Bike Building three times.  On this project, he took an impressive stock platform and created a serious one of a kind machine with over $50,000 in upgrades.

Antiques Roadshow Visits Sturgis Motorcycle Museum

While on location in the Black Hills of South Dakota, PBS’s Antiques Roadshow stopped by the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum to film a segment on motorcycle toys. In the segment host Mark L. Walberg talks with vintage toy expert Noel Barrett about various American-made, antique, cast iron motorcycle toys. Barrett shares the history of these early toys, some tips about how one might tell a reproduction from the real thing, and offers his valuation on several highlighted examples. Walberg also takes a ride on a vintage Harley-Davidson Servi-Car.

NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool

The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.
