Up for auction is a 2007 Road King that has been well maintained. Im selling the bike because I purchased a new one. This bike runs and sounds great. This motorcycle has been serviced at regular intervals and has 23,500 miles on it. Tires have been replaced recently and the bike has been garage kept and never abused. I am the original owner and I have never even done a burnout with it. Beach House Harley Davidson added cruise on this bike as well as a K & N filter, Vance and Hines pipes, and some chrome. Bike has also been lowered in the front and back. One of the locks on the bags gives me an issue at times locking and unlocking it. BUYER is responsible for shipping but I will gladly meet any shipping company here at my home to assist in loading of the bike. Locals are welcome to come look at the bike in person. Please feel free to message me with any questions. Cash, loan check, or certified check are the funds that I will accept. NO PAYPAL. Funds must be verified prior to the shipping or leaving of the bike. Once again I will gladly meet with shipping company or individual here at my home to assist with the loading of the bike but buyer is responsible for paying for shipping. Serious bidders only please! Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2013 Results
Thu, 25 Jul 2013Harley-Davidson reported a net profit of $271.7 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2013, up from the profit of $247.3 million reported in the same period in 2012. For the first half of 2013, Harley-Davidson has recorded $495.9 million in profit, compared to $419.3 million reported in the opening six months last year. “Harley-Davidson again drove strong financial performance in the second quarter, reflecting the many improvements in operations we have made throughout the Company over the past few years as well as our brand strength globally,” says Keith Wandell, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Harley-Davidson, Inc.
Harley Declares Women Riders Month
Tue, 10 Feb 2009Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
