Harley-Davidson Touring description

It is with great regret that I am selling my 2006 Electra Glide Classic.  I bought it new in November 2005.  The color is Black Cherry and Black Pearl.  It has a factory alarm system.  The only problem I have had with the motorcycle is with the radio and Harley Davidson replaced it at no charge.  I've always had the motorcycle maintained (except for some of the oil changes) at a Harley dealer.  After the first oil change, I started using synthetic Harley Davidson oil in both the engine and transmission.  In October of 2010 I had another 25000 mile inspection done I replaced both tires.  The reason for “another” 25000 inspection was because of a trip we were planning to go on.  This motorcycle has given me 31000 miles of trouble free riding, from local rallies, back and forth to work and trips out west.

I've not had any modifications done to the engine or transmission.  The only modifications I’ve done are for safety and appearance.  Here is a list of what I've added:

  • Harley Davidson Live to Ride, Ride to Live gas cover, air cleaner cover and clutch cover
  • Harley Davidson High way pegs
  • Harley Davidson Chrome passenger foot rest covers
  • Harley Davidson Alarm Siren
  • Harley Davidson Auxiliary Brake Light / Running Light / Turn Signal Conversion Kit - Flat Lens Style
  • Harley Davidson modified mufflers so it would sound like a Harley
  • Harley Davidson Luggage rack
  • Harley Davidson 3 packet fairing pouch
  • Kuryakyn adjustable passenger foot rest/pegs

The price is $12,900.00  If you are interested in this Harley Davidson, contact me for any questions you may have.  I’m not interested in you selling my motorcycle for me nor am I interested in selling to anyone that isn't living in the United States.  My motorcycle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction early if it sells.  Thanks for looking.

2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout Unveiled at Daytona Bike Week

Fri, 08 Mar 2013

In a rare move, Harley-Davidson has unveiled a base version of its Breakout months after first launching the exclusive Custom Vehicle Operations version. Presented at the 2013 Daytona Bike Week, the 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout offers a similar low and muscular profile as the CVO version but at prices starting at $17,899 compared to the premium model’s $26,999 price point. Tom Roderick reviewed the 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout last August, saying it “continues the tradition of exclusivity, performance and style customers have come to expect from Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations.” But take away the premium CVO features and what do you have?
