Well maintained 06 Street Glide. By the mileage you can tell it was not ridden much. Mostly on longer trips or highway mileage. I am the original owner and purchased it new in September of 2006. Upgrades: Corbin touring seat, H-D quick detach backrest, H-D chrome luggage rack, Python 3 slip-on mufflers, Mikuni HSR 42 carb, Ness Big Sucker air cleaner, H-D #1 Skull collection on timer, derby and air cleaner cover, Hog tunes speakers, Daytona Twin Tech ignition module. Motor internally stock. Regular oil, transmission, primary changes, every 1500 miles. New OEM Dunlop tires and balance beads installed in July of 2013. New OEM H-D battery installed June of 2013. Small dent in the front fender as well as a scratch in the front fender. $1000 down via paypal within 48 hours of auction end, balance of sale due within 7 days of auction end. Afghan Heroes tribute Harley MT350
Tue, 29 Nov 2011The above Harley-Davidson MT350 has been created in honor of the UK soldiers killed over the last ten years in the Afghanistan conflict. This particular MT350 was previously used by British forces in Afghanistan and will now act as a memorial for the charity Afghan Heroes. The tribute was created by Paul Ferguson and Martin Turner, and now features the name of each fallen serviceman or woman, accompanied by their age and the date they were killed in action.
Knievel bikes to go on show in Britain
Mon, 15 Nov 2010THE MOTORCYCLES, leathers and personal memorabilia made famous by US stunt legend Evel Knievel are being exhibited on a world tour, with a UK date on the schedule. The True Evel tour will be at the Battistinis California Dreamin' Expo, 28th-29th May 2011 in Bournemouth, UK. Show-goers will get the chance to see Knievel's famous Harley-Davidson which crashed in a jump over a tank of sharks, the X-2 Sky Cycle from the ill-fated Snake River Canyon jump, the Wheelie Dragster Car, and of course the instantly recognisable blue and white leather suits.
