This 2005 Harley Davidson Road Glide in Chrome Yellow Pearl really get in the eye. The bike is a lcal bike with only 21000 miles and in very nice condition. The twin cam 88 EFI engine runs great with no issues and the 5 speed transmission shifts as it should. The bike has a 21" custom front wheel from RC components not so big it makes it hard to ride but a nice look. 16 inch ape hangers were added along with switch housings, cables and grips. The bike has custom floor board inserts, custom mirrors and various other chrome goodies.The paint and Chrome are nice, one small chip on the tank is pictured. The bike sounds great through the Rhinehart true duals and has good power. Drivers and passengers backrest were added for comfort. This is a great bike at a great price! Harley-Davidson Discontinuing Road Glide and Other Models for 2014
Mon, 15 Apr 2013A leaked memo sent out to Harley-Davidson dealers reveals plans to drop several models from the company’s 2014 lineup. Slated to disappear are the XR1200X Sportster, the FXS Softail Blackline, and the FLHTC Electra Glide Classic. Also being discontinued, at least for 2014, is the FLTRX Road Glide Custom and FLTRU Road Glide Ultra, as the tourer models undergo a design refresh.

Owner of Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson Found in Japan
Wed, 02 May 2012Harley-Davidson representatives in Japan have identified the owner of the motorcycle lost in last year’s tsunami but later found on a remote beach in Canada. The 29-year-old owner, Ikuo Yokoyama, lives in Yamamoto, Japan, in Miyagi Prefecture, the region hardest hit by the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Yokoyama survived the disaster but lost three family members and is still living in temporary accommodations.
