Harley-Davidson Touring description

I bought this bike new in 2005 and am the only one who has ever driven it. All the miles have been touring long distance. It is very comfortable and dependable. It has many accessories and most were installed by the dealer at time of purchase. I have been running Syn-3 synthetic oil but recently switched to Amzoil. I really hate to part with it but need to for financial reasons.

Here is a list of accessories. Heated leather hand grips, Heated seat,Tall windshield with chrome trim strip, Premium Tour pack with luggage rack and spoiler with LED tail and brake lights, Interior LED trunk and saddle bag lights, Auxiliary  brake/ turn/ running light conversion kit, Hard wired HD Battery Tender trickle charger, Security system, K&N lifetime air filter, Oil cooler and spin on oil filter, Trailer hitch and wiring, Ventilated lower fairings with glove boxes, Dragon wing air deflectors/ vents, fully adjustable highway pegs, Leather fairing pouch, GPS bracket, Swivel leather and chrome cup holder, Air shocks and portable pump and a heavy duty HD motorcycle cover.

Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.
