ORIGENIAL- 2001 HD POLICE FLHTPI TOURING WITH 003167 MILES. HAS A SIDECAR. THE SIDECAR WAS A ADD ON. ALL THE POLICE EQUIPMENT WAS INSTALLED AT THE FACTORY. I BOUGHT THIS BIKE IN 2OO2 FROM A POLICE INSPECTOR IN BERLINGTON CITY NJ. THIS BIKE WAS NEVER IN SERVICE. HE ONLY USED IT IN PARADES. YOU CAN'T BUY A RETIRED POLICE BIKE FROM A DEALER OR AUCTION WITH ANY EQIPMENT ON IT. THE LOW MILEAGE IS DUE TO THAT I FAVORED MY OTHER 2 BIKES. DID RIDE IT TO DATONA TWICE. CAN RIDE IN FL. NOT DISPLAYING THE LIGHTS. KEPT IT RUNNING AND MAINTAINED. MIGHT NEED A TUNEUP. SHOWROOM CONDITION WHEN CLEANED. ALSO GOOD CLEANING TO SHIELDS. New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin
Thu, 03 Jan 2013When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
2010 Harley-Davidson Edition F-150 Revealed
Wed, 11 Feb 2009Unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show this week, the 2010 Harley-Davidson Ford F-150 is officially the first Harley-Davidson edition truck to be constructed from the award-winning 2009 F-150 chassis. This niche market co-branding exercise marks the 14th Harley-Davidson edition of an F-Series truck dating back to 2000. The collaboration between these two companies has produced eight F-150 models, as well as six Super Duty F-250, F-350, and in 2009, the first Harley-Davidson F-450 edition truck.
Harley-Davidson Extends UFC Sponsorship; UFC 164 Added to 110th Anniversary Celebrations
Wed, 20 Mar 2013Harley-Davidson has renewed its sponsorship agreement with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The new agreement will see the mixed martial arts company hold its UFC 164 event Aug. 31 in Milwaukee’s Bradley Center during Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations over the Labor Day weekend.
