For Auction is this great Harley Davidson Road King Classic with many extras,  Screaming Eagle Cams, Stage 1 &2 Cartridges, Screamin Eagle Air Cleaner, Detachable windshield, HD pull Back/high handlebars, Gel Pad Seat, Rain Cover, upgraded pegs and floorboards, screaming eagle pipes and laced (spoke) wheels.  Tires are in almost new condition.  This bike is in great shape.  It does have one very small scratch on the lower side of the tank that is barely visible.

Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico

Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.

The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
