This stunning 1994 Electra Glide Classic trike has always been garaged and maintained, and is immaculate with just 13,639 miles. A "Certified Police Special" with respected Lehman trike kit--essentially a time capsule that is both a collectors piece and a great riding machine. The photos tell the story: this Harley looks like new. This vehicle is being sold due to health condition, but will sell for a fair price only or will keep! This is not a Harley Sportster with a Frankenstein kit! This Electra Glide Classic with true Lehman kit, historical interest and ridiculously low miles is really a special piece and requires a buyer with more money to spend. Well, you might not have done that, I know I haven't, but one man who did was Steve Hopkins who built this bike using 7 Harley-Davidson engines some which date back over 100 years. To prove it rides, Hopkins and nine passengers hopped on the bike on Saturday to start the 900 mile ride from Wisconsin to Sturgis.
Harley-Davidson Recalls Over 100,000 Touring Models, 1400 Street Models
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Harley-Davidson has recalled more than 105,000 Touring models from the 2014 model year, and approximately 1400 Street models from the 2015 model year. The Touring models have been recalled due to a possible failure of a component in the clutch master cylinder. This possible failure could cause a reduction in pressure available to keep the clutch disengaged, according to the NHTSA.
Harley-Davidson Discontinuing Road Glide and Other Models for 2014
Mon, 15 Apr 2013A leaked memo sent out to Harley-Davidson dealers reveals plans to drop several models from the company’s 2014 lineup. Slated to disappear are the XR1200X Sportster, the FXS Softail Blackline, and the FLHTC Electra Glide Classic. Also being discontinued, at least for 2014, is the FLTRX Road Glide Custom and FLTRU Road Glide Ultra, as the tourer models undergo a design refresh.
