Harley-Davidson Touring description

Howdy Folks. This is a 1985 FLHT with sidecar in black. It runs well. The car battery is in the sidecar. It has some broken parts but I have replacements for these. It has a little over 55,000 miles on it. The sidecar is wider than most and fits 2 kids side by side. The sidecar is detached for now for easier transport. All fittings are there. The whole unit is quite sturdy. I have to move this out along with a 93 FLHS with a little over 60,000 miles in another advert. $10,000 for both of em. Both run very well and the 93 has an Andrews cam and new pushrods and lifters...pretty quick. I have never dogged either one. Shipping's on the buyer but I will help doing so, or I will deliver it myself for $1.30 per mile. A $500 will be Pay Paled immediately upon winning and we'll figure out the final payment, after that. Of course, pick up and cash only is appreciated.

2013 AIMExpo: Sumo-X – Video

Thu, 24 Oct 2013

Harley-Davidson riders like to customize their rides and Sumo-X gives them some interesting storage and style options, which we saw at the 2013 American International Motorcycle Expo in Orlando, Fla. The Sumo-X Tour Pack offers an incredible amount of storage behind and around the seat for Harley dressers. It allows you to access two bags or whatever else you’d like to keep in its cavernous opening.

Milwaukee’s The Iron Horse Hotel

Tue, 19 May 2009

Historically speaking, the kinds of places that have openly accepted or invited motorcycle enthusiasts and their bikes were lacking in a number of areas. While they may have been convenient and offered motorcycle-friendly amenities, they did so with little comfort or luxury. On the other hand, accommodations on the higher end of the spectrum were pretentious and inconvenient for storing bikes and gear.

Motorcycle Buying Tips For Women

Fri, 17 May 2013

Over the past few years, especially since the height of the economic crisis, more and more women have turned to motorcycling both as a way to save on fuel costs, but also to experience the joys of the open road. In an article recently published by Consumer Reports, some tips are provided for women looking to enter the sport for the first time. The first bit of advice is to “Sit on a lot of different bikes first,” says Angela Annamalai of Shelby’s Powersports in Bronx, New York.
