Harley-Davidson Touring description

1983 Harley Davidson shovelhead this bike has 10462 orginal miles. Been sitting in garage for a long time. orginal owner a friend of mine who had brain cancer and could not ride he bought it new then became sick. I got the bike and had Harley go through all gaskets and fluids and seals and anything else that came up.(have receipts from Harley and local shop this bike is in great condition and rides like a dream. I just took it back to the shop and had all the clutch plates done brand new. I have had the bike 2000 miles or so. I still ride it once a week or so. Paint is good few chips here and there orignal hard locking bags, backrest. the front rim has small rust spot on it few bolt heads are rusty but overall killer bike. brand new whitewall tires front and back. nice perla gel seat. everything works as it should. we just rode it over 300 miles this weekend without any issues. this is a very nice bike I am letting it go for someone else to enjoy due to expanding my family and will not need. any questions please let me know. I was told by the dealer who service the bike that the previous owner had motor work to beef up engine but could not tell me what. good luck and happy bidding. buyer is responsible for shipping. I will not ship anywhere!! United states bidding only. you will receive a copy of the registration and bill of sale. I still ride this bike regularly. I have lowered the reserve cause no matter what it is selling this time. Wed, 24 Oct 2012

From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.
