PLEASE READ ENTIRE AUCTION DESCRIPTION PRIOR TO BIDDING You are considering a 1978 APST Florida titled Shovelhead Harley Davidson.,,, A BEAUTIFUL CLASSIC RIDE It has been titled as a special construction somewhere in it's past- but make no mistake- it is all Harley Davidson. I do not know the mileage but it does not smoke at all when started- and runs strong-the mileage reads 1,629. The motor does not leak The bike receives the compliments wherever I ride. THE TITLE IS CLEAN. The bike runs with great compression- no leaks that I can see- drives -shifts well. It has bright shiny chrome with some minimal chrome wheel surface rust. All lights work including high low beams- running lights- rare factory stock light bumper set up. 4 speed tranny- Please note-Currently rear brake only- kick start. The front hand brake assembly is on the bike = just not connected. Harley-Davidson Breakout Recall Caused by Fuel Tank Angle
Fri, 25 Apr 2014An official recall announcement by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sheds some light on the cause of a recall campaign on 2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout and CVO Breakout models. We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.
