Very clean, mileage stated above is since rebuild. Kick start, skinned and slim. Wires are located for turn signals. LED brake light. Fun to ride. Every time I do without fail, I get a compliment on this bike. You can't build one or purchase a better looking bobber for this price. I will not trade, making room for garage retirement activities. Each custom bike in ‘Built for Speed’ reflects a branch of racing; Speedway, Flat Track, Drag Racing, Board Track, Grand Prix, Land Speed Record, and will be displayed beside the racing machines suggesting the origins of each style.

The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.
