This is absolutely one of the nicest Shovelheads around! It has a 93'' S&S Crate Engine, Baker polished 6 speed overdrive tranny, it has kick and electric start, primary belt drive, independent dual exhaust, electronic ignition, 2'' over chrome front end, beach bars and nice red metallic paint. The bike has 6,000 miles on it since being torn down and redone, the engine and trans only have 4,000 miles on them. This bike starts, runs and shifts excellent, its ready to ride. I have owned it 16 years and have always kept it in my heated garage. I hate to sell it, but I just don't ride it much anymore. My reserve is less than what I paid for the engine & trans, somebody is going to get a great deal on this bike. In the week since Harley-Davidson announced Project LiveWire, the Motor Company has posted several open positions on its online job board calling for applicants with a background in electric vehicles and electromechanical engineering. Music and Motorcycles Exhibit
Wed, 04 Mar 2009The four-day “Music and Motorcycles” exhibit, presented by the Long Island Music Hall of Fame (LIMHOF), will be on public display at the Lighthouse Harley-Davidson dealership in Huntington Station, NY. The exhibit will feature memorabilia and motorcycles from many inductees from the LIMHOF including, Joan Jett, Billy Joel, Dee Snider, The Ramones, Darryl McDaniel of Run DMC and more. Billy Joel will be supplying several custom bikes, Twisted Sister have agreed to loan one of their motorcycles and a gas tank signed by Jett, Snider, Peter Tork of The Monkees, Gary U.S.
