1972 Harley FLH - "King of the Highway" Touring Machine - 12,874 Original Miles - All Matching Numbers - Original NOT REBUILT - Great condition, Cracked "Lower Blue Windshield" (upper half of two piece bottom Blue Section) upper half is fine. 1972 . Bike was properly stored Owner passed away his Brother Gary had reputable Shop rebuild Carburetor, Points, Condenser, New Master Cylinder, Brakes, Lines, New Gas Tanks, Tires & Tubes, Chain, Oils Changed and runs nice. Original  White Seat (on Piston Spring) with buddy springs, Everything works; Directional's , Flashers, Spots, Hi/Low Beam, Tail/Brake lights. Last Registered 1981 before storage... Road Tested August 2013 - Runs Great! Pick-Up Only with Cleared Payment, Cash or Wire Transfer from recognized bank Bike will not be released until funds are fully cleared. Paypal accepted for Deposit ONLY. $1000.00. I am listing this for a friend Gary, brother of the original owner who passed. Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.
