Harley-Davidson Touring description

1964 Panhead with 1962 fuel tanks.  Very nice rider has matching belly numbers, proper chassis and drive train.  Original Linkert carburetor.  12 volt conversion.  The rear crash bars shown in photos have been removed because one cracked, but they are repairable and will be included with sale.  Rear fender is from a later model Harley FLH.  Clear KY title in my name with original Harley VIN.  Runs well.  See youtube video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTJi_dC-73A.  Shipping is the responsibility of the bid  winner and only after all payments clear. “We basically saved Harley,” says Sons of Anarchy co-star Mark Boone Jr. (Bobby) to Susan Carpenter of The Hollywood Reporter. In a time before the economic meltdown, motorcycle sales, especially for Harley-Davidson, were booming. After the collapse, sales have only started to pick up again within the past two years (at nowhere near pre-2008 levels, however).

Dodge City 300 Looking To Celebrate Centennial Anniversary In 2014

In 1914 the city of Dodge City, Kansas held a motorcycle race, the Dodge City 300, attracting over 17,000 spectators. By 1921 there were more than 20,000. The race was held on a two-mile dirt oval and was sanctioned by the FAM (Federation of American Motorcyclists).
