Harley-Davidson Touring description

The "HONEYBAGGER" built in 2012 by Seele Kustoms and owned by Bill Steele, is a one of a kind motorcycle which started out as a 2006 Harley Davidson Road Glide (it is titled as such) but it wasn't long till his crew from Steele Kustoms made changes.

This bike is currently on the cover of the June, 2013 edition of Baggers Magazine. "HONEYBAGGER" also made the cover of PPG Repaint Reporter . PPG also used the "HONEYBAGGER" as their ad for last year's Olympics. The "HONEYBAGGER" also won BEST OF SHOW  and won 1st(FIRST) place RADICAL BAGGER at the Easyrider show in Columbus, OH February 2012 plus the Detroit Autorama 2012 chose the "HONEYBAGGER" as BEST BIKE OVERALL.

The Frame and swing arm were reworked by Rolling Thunder. The rake is 40 degrees with a 3 inch stretch.

The Engine is a '06 HD96in Twin Cam with bored cyclinders, flowed heads, cams and Fuel Injection built and tuned by Roll On Cycle.

The custom grey powdercoat finish is on the motor,trans,wheels, front end, controlsmpipes and rotors.

The Transmission is a '06 HD case with aftermarket 6 speed gears. A BDL clutch and a BDL 2in primary drive with PM mid-controls machined into the machined into the peimary and machined pulley covers.

The Front Suspension has Ness Lowers, forking by Frank Tubes, the length 2in over and triple trees are raked. The Rear Suspension is progressive air ride.

Couture Wheels front and rear 26x3.5 front with Vee Rubber tire. Rear is 18x5.5 with Avon 200mm tire.

The Brakes are Dual front PM and single PM rear.

The Front Fender, Rear Fender, Fender Struts, Inner Faring, Crash Bars, Exhaust Pipes,Air Cleaner, Horn Cover, Saddle Bags, Gas Tank and Frame Inlets and Covers are all sheet metal and done from scratch by Steele Kustoms.

Two(2) Braill Lithium Batteries with charging systems, one (1) for the stereo and one (1) for the bike. Handlesbars by Sinister, Hand controls and Footpegs are PM. Tail lightd are froma '55 Porsche. The Stereo System is run thru the an IPAD2 , 4 speakers, 2 AMPS and 2-8in subs. The bike has all things needed-hoen, turn signals,hi-low headlamps controlled in the left grip.

The paint and body were done by Steele Auto Body with PPG Materials. The colors were formulated by Bill Steele. The bike is fresh with about 150 miles since rebuild.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.

The Street 750 and Street 500 from Harley-Davidson represent the first all-new platform from Harley-Davidson in 13 years. Built for urban environments, the Street series machines fall under the Dark Custom design and are intended for young, urban riders. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S.
