Harley-Davidson Superglide description

Have owned this bike since 1979 and I am the second owner. Had the heads done with stainless steel valves and bronze guides. Put in lower compression pistons to accept today's cheap gas so it won't ping. Has a 1969 drum brake Wide Glide front end and 1969 gas tanks. 16x4" front and real wheels. Needs some TLC, a new battery and carb.    I HAVE THE SEAT.
* This is not a girly bike or trailer queen.  Paint is 35 years old and chrome is dulling. She is a rider. The kind of bike you ride when you have a 6 pack under your belt.

With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
