Harley-Davidson Sportster description

I am parting ways with my 2014 Sportster 1200 / 72. If you're looking at this posting, you are probably familiar with the 72 model. The bike is essentially stock, other than the Vance & Hines pipes, jet kit, Harley Skull and Crossbones forward controls, grips, and blinker relocation. All parts are Harley, and they are all bolt on. I believe my bill for the after market parts and labor was right at two grand. The bike has 620 miles on it, fifty of which I put on recently, saying goodbye. The pictures speak for themselves; the bike is essentially new. Make me a solid offer, and she will be yours. I have a clear title in hand. I am selling this bike because it is not being ridden. Save a bunch off retail. Good luck!
* I've had a few questions about the paint. The paint is an original Harley option, thats called Hard Candy Color. Its a nice black and grey metal flake. It was an $800.00 option.
* I've had a few questions about the location of the bike. I am located in the 18330 area code, and I can deliver the bike to NY, NJ, DE, PA. We can work out the details.
* Yes, I do have both keys.

On Jun-26-16 at 13:52:18 PDT, seller added the following information:

* Yes I have the title, yes it is clean, and yes, the mileage is accurate.

On Jun-28-16 at 11:56:10 PDT, seller added the following information:

* I just thought I should make payment options a bit clearer. I had a guy messaging me, telling me he was going to be my high bidder, and that he was coming for the bike Sunday, with a personal check. I kindly asked him to retract his bid, unless he had cash, for Sunday. I am willing to accept a personal check; however, it has to be on a weekday, and I will not release the bike until the check has cleared, in full. There are simply too many people playing too many games these days. Thanks for understanding.

Harley-Davidson Wire Sculpture

Thu, 12 Nov 2009

Contemporary Artist Derek Kinzett is based out of the U.K. and works with wire to create some stunning sculptures. I cant imagine how long it must have taken to make this Harley-Davidson replica but I am sure he is well compensated.  Kinzett has even been commissioned by Nicolas Cage, hopefully he received his payment before Cage’s IRS bill came in…

Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care

Tue, 26 Mar 2013

A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson  owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.

Fundraising Harley Prints By 8-year-old MDA Ambassador On Sale

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

MDA Ambassador Reagan Imhoff wanted the artwork she created with Harley-Davidson designer Mathew Hintz to “raise a lot of money for MDA so we can have more scientists to make medicines.” The original drawing of a purple Harley-Davidson Softail Breakout motorcycle brought in $3500 on August 31 at the MDA auction during the 110th Anniversary Celebration. The pair hopes to raise even more with sales of the limited edition, signed prints, available through www.HintzStudios.com. “I’m happy our artwork raised some money, and hope we sell all of the prints!” said Reagan, who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a painful neuromuscular disease.
