Harley-Davidson Sportster description

Up for sale is a 2012 Harley Davidson iron 883. It's midnight pearl blue with metal flake. It has a little over 1,300 miles on it and comes with factory alarm. I have a cover a passenger seat attachment and kick stand pad. It does have one scratch on the rear fender but other then that it's nearly perfect condition. It's always been garage kept and only driven once in the rain. I bought the bike as a gift and now I don't talk to that person anymore. I have a clear title in hand all the original paperwork from the dealer. I'm the original owner and the bike has never been dropped, wrecked or laid down. Buyer responsible for shipping or pick up. I can help with shipper if you can't be here to pick it up in person. Great bike a huge discount compared to the price of a new one and with less than 1,500 miles on it your basically buying a brand new bike.

2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout Unveiled at Daytona Bike Week

Fri, 08 Mar 2013

In a rare move, Harley-Davidson has unveiled a base version of its Breakout months after first launching the exclusive Custom Vehicle Operations version. Presented at the 2013 Daytona Bike Week, the 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout offers a similar low and muscular profile as the CVO version but at prices starting at $17,899 compared to the premium model’s $26,999 price point. Tom Roderick reviewed the 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Breakout last August, saying it “continues the tradition of exclusivity, performance and style customers have come to expect from Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations.” But take away the premium CVO features and what do you have?

New details about the expansion of the model range of the American concern. The Americans are going to bring out "electric trains" - and we are not talking about the big Electra Glide tourer, but about ... full-fledged electric motorcycles!

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.
