Harley-Davidson Sportster description

This bike lights up and gets the neighbor's attention every time. Solid, reliable, cool as hell, and gets frequent compliments. Lots of torque, and it can do the ton with plenty of room left to go. It's less than 600 pounds wet, so it handles like a lightweight bike while looking and sounding like you're bound for Sturgis. It's got a nice, low center of gravity, corners like a dream, and can be flat-footed even if you're 5-feet tall. Great starter bike for a new rider or a killer daily rider for an experienced one.

The pipes need to be rewrapped. I can't offer to rewrap them myself. I'm selling the bike for what I owe on it because I'm moving out of state soon and already have 2 other bikes to haul. You can have them rewrapped at just about any repair shop, or do it yourself in just a couple of hours. Pipe wrap costs about $50 or so.

This bike was around $8,000 brand new, and has lots of modifications that make it worth much more. You'll never get all these modifications for such a low price.

MODIFICATIONS:
  • Python Throwbacks exhaust pipes (loud and crisp!) w/ powder-coated tips and gray pipe wrap
  • Roland Sands Venturi Speed 7 air cleaner (adds 10-15 horsepower when combined with the Python pipes)
  • Forward controls (foot pegs and pedals) (black)
  • Black bars with an 8" rise
  • Black mirrors
  • Front turn signals relocated to forks
  • License plate holder
  • Rear turn signals relocated to license plate holder
  • Ghost Brackets for removable saddlebags (bags included!)
  • Black eyelid tips on all turn signals
  • Fuel tank raised 2" (easily removed or lowered to 1")
  • A comfy solo seat (stock seat from the new Harley 72's)
  • Black hand levers (clutch and front brake)
  • Regulator replaced (Harley had a recall on the stock regulator)
STOCK PARTS INCLUDED:
  • Front fender
  • Belt guards
  • Solo spring seat with a hard-to-find spring seat conversion kit
  • Lowering kit (brackets for either side of rear tire to lower the back end 1", 2", or 3")
  • Clymer maintenance manual for '04-'12 Sportsters.
