Harley-Davidson Sportster description

As the title says I have a 2010 sportster 48 (XL1200X) for sale. I have quite a bit of time and money into this bike. It has almost 4,000 miles with all new fluids.  The bike has a custom paint job by Shawn Long from Imperial House. Check him out he does great work. The paint started out as a yellow/gold metal flake base with an airbrushed rootbeer fade. Then the panels were outlined with an ivory pinstripe. Topped off with a flush mount fuel cap. The other upgrades to the bike include:

-Screamin Eagle heavy breather air cleaner
-drag pipes with big city thunder monster baffles.  Heat wrap is brand new
-V&H fuelpak
-coil, speedo, and ignition relocation
- 10" frisco bars internally wires
-custom switches on brass mounts
-relocated kill switch
-custom brass foot pegs, toe shifter, brake pedal and modified lever, matching brass passenger pegs with swivel mounts.
- Rich Phillips Bates style solo seat and matching P-pad.
- brass brake linkage
- custom shift linkage with "fourty eight" engraved on it.
- custom sissy bar
- bike will come with white coke bottle grips(not pictured)
- also has new light covers front and rear.
I also will include a box full of OEM parts that came off the bike. I'm sure there's more things I forgot to list but if anyone has any questions or would like some different pictures just ask. Can be reached by email through this listing or text to 636-58four-four104.

Happy Birthday Elvis!

Fri, 08 Jan 2010

Born on January 8th, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Aaron Presley would have been 75 years ago today if he was still alive today.  As a tribute to “The King” of Rock and Roll, the Harley-Davidson Museum has created a special exhibit, expanding on the semi-permanent collection from Elvis that has been on display since the museum was opened in 2008. The bill of sale, insurance, and registration papers for the 1956 Harley-Davidson KH pictured above will be on display along with the motorcycle that was owned by Elvis and the Graceland Museum has loaned some rare photos for the occasion. Along with Cadillac’s, Elvis had a passion for motorcycles but especially loved his Hogs and rode Harley’s in many of his films, including Roustabout (1964), Viva Las Vegas (1964), Clambake (1967) and Stay Away Joe (1968).

Motorcycle Stirrups – Yes, They Exist!

Wed, 15 Jan 2014

What do you get when a lifelong horse rider and motorcyclist from Nebraska gets inspired to combine his two loves? Why, motorcycle stirrups, of course! The idea came to Devin Santana, proprietor of Nebraska City Iron Works, one day when he was riding his Harley-Davidson down the road and looked down at his feet.
