Harley-Davidson Sportster description

Lowered reserve and buy it now prices! 2010 Sportster 48 with 4500 miles. I have too many projects and not enough time to ride anymore so this needs to go. Bike runs like a champ. A lot of parts have been stripped off so know what you're getting into before you bid. I have most of the original parts and they will be included in the auction. Custom pipes, Vance & Hines air cleaner and fuel pack, Firestone repop tires, LePera seat, No School Choppers taillight, Biltwell Whiskey throttle, metal flake gas tank, key, ignition, and start button all relocated, and lots of other miscellaneous parts. I just replaced the battery. I love this bike and it's a blast to ride but I just hate seeing it sit there so, I'd love for someone else to enjoy it.

Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation

Thu, 17 May 2012

Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
