Up for auction is a 2009 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Nighster with 11,912 miles. The bike is 100% stock in mint condition and is ready to ride. Everything is in excellent condition and it runs and drives perfectly, great tires, orange and black paint scheme, electric start, V-twin air cooled, 9.7:1 compression, 1200cc, 5 speed belt drive, hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, 60" wheelbase, bright lights, smoked signals, and very comfortable. Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead
Fri, 13 Dec 2013The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.
