Today (August 16) it's exactly 35 years since Elvis died (or didn't, depending on your beliefs on the matter) so we thought we'd mark the moment with this – Elvis Presley's own 1956 Harley-Davidson. Elvis is so inextricably linked to Harleys that he's even become subject of an endlessly-circulating internet myth. You know, the one where a guy finds an old Harley for a few bucks, starts to restore it and discovers an 'Elvis' inscription under the seat.

Harley-Davidson turns 120 this year, and to celebrate model year 2023, The Motor Company has turned to its once-every-five-year playbook and unveiled seven limited-edition models to commemorate the occasion. Contemporary Artist Derek Kinzett is based out of the U.K. and works with wire to create some stunning sculptures. I cant imagine how long it must have taken to make this Harley-Davidson replica but I am sure he is well compensated.  Kinzett has even been commissioned by Nicolas Cage, hopefully he received his payment before Cage’s IRS bill came in…
