Harley-Davidson Sportster description

The donor bike was a new 2007 XL1200N which was completely disassembled and rebuilt.

this is not a girls bike.

Most of the work was done by Evil Spirit Engineering in Burbank, California and the rest by myself. The frame is a stock front with Kansas Kustoms hardtail and most of his chain conversion with a couple custom fabricated parts. the vin on the frame and motor are matching and it is titled as a 2007 harley davidson 1200xln in my name. Evil Spirit custom exhaust (it's very loud) there is a major issue trying to mount exhaust when the motor is rubbermounted in a rigid frame and this has been accomplished very well. Bike is fuel injected. Custom gas tank with stock fuel pump removed. added msd hi-flow fuel pump, aeromotive fuel pressure regulator and rerouted fuel lines. External fuel system has been the subject of several forum threads/articles and in my opinion this bike set the bar for this type of modification. so many people have talked to me about doing this but i have yet to see it done. barnett scorpion clutch. chassis design co.oil tank. paul cox air ride seat mount with hand made saddle. i forget who made the rear fender but it is STOUT so you can carry a heavy passenger if you choose. removable passenger pegs. i had a removable p-pad but cant seem to find it at the moment but if i do i will include it. pingel fuel filter. pangea speed zephyr bars. exile internal throttle. push button on solenoid starter. diamond 530 o-ring chain. HD front and rear disc brakes. HD 39mm narrow glide front end. performance machine hand controls. rouserworks one-off foot pegs. evil spirit engineering LED tail light. aux fuel bottle (theres no fuel reserve) metzeler tires. Bike has been completely rewired with all the junk removed (there are no turn signals hazards or horn) fuse box, ECM and Speedo relocation. speedo in tact allows codes to be pulled as normal however fuel gauge no longer operational. Custom battery box holds battery, power commander and bank angle sensor, personally one of my favorite mods of the bike. Bike has been Dyno tuned to perfection by Rick Neal Racing with the rev limiter increased. the bike is unpainted ON PURPOSE. in my opinion it didnt need it and looks great raw. it is very fast and fun to ride, high performance and looks without sparkle paint. I personally have had the bike at 125 mph and there was still throttle left, i just chickened out. this motorcycle is ready to ride anywhere today. the miles are very low at 12680. i dont feel like mentioning how much i have into this bike, but i assure you it is a LOT more than im asking for it so id rather not take offers, it is very much worth the price. bike is located in austin, texas and is also for sale locally so if i end the auction early thats why. shipping is buyers responsibility. i will assist in loading the bike if needed but the rest it on you. i can refer good shippers if you need one. if you are interested in the bike please feel free to ask any questions i will be happy to answer them. i can also provide additional pics if needed. thanks for looking.

Motorcycle.com Adds a New Editor

Mon, 05 Nov 2012

While some moto publications are cutting back and constricting, Motorcycle.com is proud to announce the addition of a new editor to our masthead. MO readers, meet Jon Langston, our new Associate Editor. I knew Langston was a cool cat when I first met him at the Harley-Davidson Blackline unveiling in January 2011.

Harley-Davidson has been building motorcycles for a long time. Over 105 years in fact, according to the summer celebration I attended in Milwaukee last summer. Who could have guessed over a century ago that the company would be alive and thriving today?

Harley Skateboard Trick – Awesome Motorcycle Jump

Tue, 28 Apr 2009

Everything needs to be jumped over with a skateboard at some point in human history.  People, benches, cars, cats, senior citizens, conclusions, ships, …. I’m getting a little metaphorical here…  Why not motorcycles?  Let’s jump some motorcycles on a skateboard and let’s make them Harley-Davidson motorcycles to boot. Harley is on fire with releasing “viral video” to promote their Dark Custom line and have now released this interesting video of a “modded” skateboard with fireworks strapped to it flying over some bikes.  Personally, I think it  looks like the guy is hanging from a wire when he crosses over those bikes.
