Its a sad day, because I LOVE this bike. Its got a few nice custom touches, new battery last year (still looking for the battery cover). Its been well treated and always garaged. 1st owner was also a true bike lover (I am 2nd owner)
Problem Is, I have arthritis in my hands and joints (I'm 53) and I hurt pretty bad for the few times I use the bike, its just not worth the pain I experience (Even with foam grips) There is absolutely NOTHING problematic with this bike, I only hope its as special to the next owner, as it was to me. Bike is located in Clifton NJ 07013, I will respond to all reasonable emails, please understand I don't want to trade it for your 1993 Ford Focus...you get the idea... again, I will look for the battery cover, I hope i find it...If not, you can find one on ebay or craigslist, i dont have the time to look. Actual Mileage is UNDER 5K !!!! Bike runs awesome. |

Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity
Mon, 21 Oct 2013During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.

Thu, 19 Jun 2014Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle.However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
