From custom lipless wheels, after market bob tail fender with led tail light, S&S headlight, after market handle bars with chrome controls, stiletto mirrors, handle bars and foot pegs, full chrome screamin eagle intake and exhaust, plus many more aftermarket accessories. The bike now has just over 8,000 miles on it and has been in a heated garage, gas drained, battery has been hooked to a battery tender over the past winters. The bike has been oil changed every year with a chrome Harley Davidson oil filter and fully synthetic screamin eagle oil. This bike has never been dumped, tipped over or sat outside over night. Fri, 24 Oct 2008I had a unique opportunity this week to sit down with Oliver Shokouh, the founder of the Love Ride, only days before the 25th anniversary of the purportedly largest one-day rally in the world, kicks-off this coming Sunday, October 26. First and foremost I’m very grateful for Oliver to set aside over half an hour of his precious time so close to the event. Not only does he head-up this massive event, he’s also busy running the very busy and successful Harley-Davidson/Buell of Glendale (California).

Fri, 19 Dec 2008Every year it seems that newspaper advertisements, radio and TV commercials for Christmas start earlier and earlier. As soon as the sun begins to set on Halloween, department stores begin packing shelves and websites start stocking inventory in preparation for the impending feeding frenzy that will occur for the most commercial of holidays next to valentine’s day. While spending the holiday with family normally keeps me blitzed off eggnog and most of these aforementioned advertisements are enough to make me want to book a cruise for an entire fortnight at the end of December, this one commercial for Harley-Davidson made me laugh.
