Harley-Davidson Sportster description

2005 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 CUSTOM, I bought this bike used in 2009. It had one owner before me. It had 5K miles on it, a Screaming Eagle package, i.e. lots of chrome, a luggage rack/padded backrest. I removed the windshield, added saddlebags, replaced the font tire and the battery in 2012, and this month the sensor which keeps the engine working smoothly. I just did an oil change, had it inspected again and gave it a tune up. Right now she has about 20K miles on it. She has always been garaged and I have a cover and a trickle charger. I am selling because my health issues have prevented me from riding all season this year. She is a great bike, my first one and she has been a great first bike for someone as anxious to ride a bike as much as I was after 50 years. For me the 1200 was a perfect fit. $6,400.00 5083405010

He retired from Harley-Davidson in 2009, but the prospect of helping Motus develop an all-American sport-tourer was just the opportunity he needed to come out of retirement and utilize his test riding expertise.

New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.
