Harley-Davidson Sportster description

2005 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200

Lots of extras
-screaming eagle stage 2 kit
- Samson pipes (very loud)
- sissy bar with luggage rack
- forward controls
- new foot pegs
- passenger footpegs
- tires are in excellent shape
- lots of chrome

This is a great bike, it has been well maintained, oil changes every 3k miles, tune ups when needed etc. The only reason I am selling this bike is that I am having a kid here soon and well this is one of the toys that has to go. I love this bike, it is a nice ride and will get up and go if you want it to. I have never had any problems. It has lots of chrome and very sharp looking. The only negative part is the brake and clutch grip bars are pitted, the chrome is pitted that is. It is not bad at all, not noticeable unless I say it and one would look at it but I just wanted to put that in here because I don't want you to buy it and not be aware of it. Other than that there are no problems and I have never had any problems with it, have never had to fix anything on it.

Also I want to mention I have not been rough on it, I have taken care of the bike and have rode it pretty gently. I am not a knucklehead who winds the engine up to thousands of rpm's and burns tires or the engine for that matter. I take pride in what I have and have maintained this bike well.

If you have any questions feel free to ask, hopefully I have covered everything needed. If you would like to talk over the phone to get more info send me a message and we can talk about anything you have questions about.

EBR Nation Part 3: Made In America

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.
