Bob Probert’s Last Ride [video]

The former NHL Detroit Red Wing and Chicago Blackhawks tough guy, Bob Probert, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 after suffering chest pains while boating with his family.  Probert was arguably the all time greatest NHL fighter but also had great skills, leadership qualities and a big heart. He was taken to his final destination on a Harley-Davidson sidecar before about 1,000 mourners.  Probert was 45 years old on his passing, he leaves behind his wife Dani, son Jack and two daughters, Brogan and Tierney. Keanu Reeves Starts Arch Motorcycle Company – Production to Begin in 2013

Actor Keanu Reeves is getting into the motorcycle business, starting up the Arch Motorcycle Company with Gard Hollinger of L.A. County Choprods. The new company will build motorcycles based on the KR GT-1 prototype pictured above, with production set to begin in 2013.

Owner of Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson Found in Japan

Harley-Davidson representatives in Japan have identified the owner of the motorcycle lost in last year’s tsunami but later found on a remote beach in Canada. The 29-year-old owner, Ikuo Yokoyama, lives in Yamamoto, Japan, in Miyagi Prefecture, the region hardest hit by the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Yokoyama survived the disaster but lost three family members and is still living in temporary accommodations.
