Harley-Davidson Sportster description

This is a 2000 sportster 883 / 1200. the motor has been upgraded by a professional engine builder in Honesdale PA. this bike runs fantastic, starts right up and needs noting but a new home. if you look at the photos you will see that just about every piece of chrome you can buy for this is on it. it has a mustang seat, back rest, clock on handle bars, chrome switches, chrome nut covers, Kuryakyn grips, and foot rests, Vance and Hines exhaust, there is way to much to list, look at the photos and you will see all. the tires are also in great shape.
questions just ask, this bike was purchased 1 yr ago from Keystone Harley in Honesdale, and was serviced then, since then I have only put about 300 miles max on it, situations in my life require me to sell it. so don't pass this up, look at it. the chrome on it alone is probably between 2 to 3 grand. then consider the engine upgrade, at this price its like steeling it.

there are so many items on this its almost impossible to list them all, if you know bikes and I assume you do if your looking, then you will know the amount of items and work involved and the price is also great. the bike is worth more than the buy it now but its the barre minimum for a buy it now. im not going to give it away, ill just keep riding it if that is the case, but if you are serious, message me and we can talk about it, bike was serviced 300 miles ago by keystone Harley. its ready to ride, I have a full dresser and really don't need two bikes.

EBR Nation Part 3: Made In America

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.

New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
