Harley-Davidson Sportster description

1999 Harley Sportster 1200Custom. I have had it since it was new. It only has 8000 miles on it. I do not think I rode it at all last year and haven't yet this year. Tires have good tread.

I put a new carb in it last year and it has tons of chrome. It also has a chrome gas tank which you will not find on any other bike on Ebay.  It was expensive and a pain in the butt to do but looks great and definitely draws attention.

Buyer can also have new Reinhardt exhaust I bought for it.

Clean title.

Harley-Davidson Secures NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Title With One Round Remaining

Mon, 29 Oct 2012

The indomitable Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines drag racing team has set the stage to claim another championship in motorcycle drag racing. Ed Krawiec raced to his ninth Pro Stock Motorcycle win of the season and third in a row at the Big O Tires NHRA Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this past weekend, ensuring the 2012 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle championship title will go to the Harley team. Krawiec now carries a 111-point advantage going into the last round; only his teammate, Andrew Hines, remains as a contender to claim the crown as champ.

More Evidence of a Harley-Davidson Pan America 975 Emerges

Mon, 17 Oct 2022

Earlier this year, we wrote about how signs of a Pan America 975 were mistakenly mentioned in an official Harley-Davidson web page for an accessory locking fuel cap. Up until shortly after our article went live, the page listed the fuel cap as being compatible with the RA1250 (Pan America 1250) and RA1250S (Pan America 1250 Special) as well as two unannounced models: the RA975 and RA965S, which we assumed to be Pan America models powered by the 975cc version of the Revolution Max engine, like the one equipped on the Nightster. Motorcycle.com has now obtained further evidence of the existence of middleweight versions of Harley-Davidson’s adventure-tourer, once again from Harley itself, as well as the U.S.
