Harley-Davidson Sportster description

Holy Barn Finds Batman!!!   Was talking to the boss and he was telling me about the motorcycle he bought for his wife once upon a time and she rode it twice and decided she didn't want to ride, soooo he pulled in to the climate controlled garage and threw the cover over it and thought maybe she will change her mind..... 16 years later.... she doesn't want to drive, So he had me sell his 1981 Sturgis and and this bike and he went and bought a Ultra Classic so they could ride together...

So Basically what you are looking at here is a BRAND NEW 1999 Sportster with only 208 miles on it!!!! The Bike ran and drove fine But He put a new battery in it, trailered it down to the local Harley dealer and had them do a full service on the bike and flush out the fuel systems and carbs to make sure it was in perfect order for the new owner! (thats how he rolls)  So, the description is short, not much to say other than this is a great opportunity to buy a soon to be brand new classic bike... Needs nothing, he drove it back home from the dealer and gave me the thumbs up to get it listed!  I could sit here and post 75 pictures up close of a the bike but feel its a waste of your time and mine, ITS NEW and it has 208 miles on it. that pretty much says it all. thanks for looking.

DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME DEAL!!!

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.

Bred in America, built in India the new Revolution X platform is meant to be Harley’s new price point model. The two motorcycles feature the new liquid-cooled Revolution X engine, a narrow, agile chassis with a low seat height (26.3 inches), new suspension, a wide handlebar and minimalist styling. Not all markets will get both engine sizes, but the U.S. will. The 500 costs $6700 and the 750 is $7500.
