Custom machine with following changes. Engine bored out from 883 to 1200cc. Peanut gas tank replaced by 3.3 gal tank. Foot controls shifted from center to forward position. White Brothers exhaust. Chrome Kuryakyn foot and hand controls. Progressive front springs and rear shocks. Front & Rear wheels replaced with Performance Machine Viper units. Custom Saddle bags and supports. Live to Ride / Ride to Live mirrors. Tachometer / speedometer replaced original speedometer. H.D. chrome horn replacement. Dual Rider & Passenger seat w/ passenger pegs. Detachable windshield. Chrome belt guards. Heel rests on front pegs.

Selling Price includes Battery Charger, Rain and Dust covers, cable wheel lock, front disc lock, and Maintenance Manual.
Investment approx. $13,000.
Seller purchased unit with 2500 miles on it in 1995 from original owner. Unit has always been stored in a garage or dealership during winter months. Yearly maintenance by original dealer.

UFC Set To Rumble For H-D’s 110th Anniversary

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) octagon is set to ride into Milwaukee for Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary celebration, giving fans an opportunity to witness one of the hardest-hitting live MMA fights of the year – the UFC 164 Harley-Davidson Hometown Throwdown. UFC stars including Cain Velasquez, Mike Chiesa and Matt Hughes will be at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in downtown Milwaukee on August 31 for the action-packed card, which will feature more than 10 hard-hitting bouts. “UFC and Harley-Davidson fans will experience the passion of the world’s best fighters when they duke it out in the Octagon in our backyard here in Milwaukee during our 110th Anniversary,” said Mark-Hans Richer, Chief Marketing Officer at Harley-Davidson.

Harley-Davidson has announced its plans for the 2011 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Aug. 6-13 in the Black Hills region of South Dakota. Scheduled Harley-Davidson activities include the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building, the XR1200 Racing Experience, Muscular Dystrophy Association pin sale and custom motorcycle raffle and the Harley-Davidson Ride-In Show.

A new display in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee is set to open at the end of this week exhibiting the artwork of the firm's styling chief Willie G Davidson. As well as being the grandson of the original 'Davidson' and in charge of all Harley's styling, it turns out that Willie G is a dab hand with a paintbrush. According to Harley-Davidson, the display will include “idyllic rural landscapes and still life watercolour paintings with strong luminosity and form that hint at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as the pacesetter in motorcycle design.” The firm's museum has also announced other special exhibits planned for later in the year, including “Journey of the Iron Elite: The Evolution of Motorcycle Culture through the Eyes of African-Americans” and “Born to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket” - a 4000-square-foot display dedicated purely to black biker jackets...
