1200 Pro Sportster Drag Bike Harley-Davidson 1992 5-Speed Sportster This is for a highly modified Sportster Drag bike made for 1/8th mile races. Bike is ready to race, no blown engine on this baby! Lets start with whats done, starting from the Top of the Engine to the Bottom. So The Rocker Boxes are off a buel, cast finish, not polished, not chromed, not painted. The Rockers are Roller Rockers, 1.675 Ratio. Cometic Gaskets. Head Breather Rocker Boxes Buell Lightning Heads 62cc Chambers that have been machined to 30 degree domes. Valves are Stock Buell Lightning Size: 1.715" diameter intake valves, 1.480" diameter exhaust valves Intake and Exhaust ports have been ported and then flowed. They are NOT Polished. Stock Color , Aluminum Raw. Harley Skateboard Trick – Awesome Motorcycle Jump
Tue, 28 Apr 2009Everything needs to be jumped over with a skateboard at some point in human history. People, benches, cars, cats, senior citizens, conclusions, ships, …. I’m getting a little metaphorical here… Why not motorcycles? Let’s jump some motorcycles on a skateboard and let’s make them Harley-Davidson motorcycles to boot. Harley is on fire with releasing “viral video” to promote their Dark Custom line and have now released this interesting video of a “modded” skateboard with fireworks strapped to it flying over some bikes. Personally, I think it looks like the guy is hanging from a wire when he crosses over those bikes.
Owner of Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson Found in Japan
Wed, 02 May 2012Harley-Davidson representatives in Japan have identified the owner of the motorcycle lost in last year’s tsunami but later found on a remote beach in Canada. The 29-year-old owner, Ikuo Yokoyama, lives in Yamamoto, Japan, in Miyagi Prefecture, the region hardest hit by the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Yokoyama survived the disaster but lost three family members and is still living in temporary accommodations.
