FOR SALE 1974 HARLEY DAVIDSON SPORTSTER IN GOOD CONDITION. BIKE WAS GONE OVER 2 YEARS AGO DRIVEN A COUPLE OF MONTHS THEN PUT IN STORAGE. THE BATTERY WENT DEAD SO IT WILL NEED A NEW ONE AND I WOULD ALSO CHANGE THE OIL. GAS WAS PRETTY MUCH DRAINED SO THERE SHOULD BE KNOW PROBLEM WITH THAT. THE BIKE IS A RIGHT SIDE SHIFT. HARLEY DID THIS FOR 1 OR 2 YEARS IT ALSO HAS A ELECTRIC START. ALSO INCLUDED IN THE SALE WILL BE THE ORIGINAL GAS TANK, FENDERS, PIPES, OIL TANK, AND TRN SIGNALS. 2012-2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special Recalled for Loose License Plate Bracket
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall on all Night Rod Special models from 2012 and some from 2013 because of a potentially loose license plate bracket. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounting screws connecting the VRSDCDX‘s license plate bracket to the tail may loosen, potentially causing the plate to rub against the rear tire. This may cause the plate bracket to rotate as well as damage rear brake lines.

Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity
Mon, 21 Oct 2013During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.
