The bike was customized by American V-Twin in Boca Raton and custom painted by B-Unique. Bike has 17 1/2 Ape Hangers, chrome front end, polished rotor, 21 Ride Wright Fat Daddy 50 spoke wheel, Corbin Gun Fighter seat with detachable back rest, Bad Dad extended strech bags and rear fender, custom LED taillight in license plate frame, and $4000 custom paint job by B-Unique that is Candy Cherry with Ghost Skulls and silver Tribal. Bike was customized three years ago and is in Superb condition. Low country Harley Davidson says this bike qualifies for their extended warranties. 2012-2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special Recalled for Loose License Plate Bracket

Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall on all Night Rod Special models from 2012 and some from 2013 because of a potentially loose license plate bracket. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounting screws connecting the VRSDCDX‘s license plate bracket to the tail may loosen, potentially causing the plate to rub against the rear tire. This may cause the plate bracket to rotate as well as damage rear brake lines.

Harley-Davidson donated more than $4.5 million to support various charitable groups in 2012. The donations, which include both grants and merchandise, went to several organizations, including those around Harley-Davidson‘s bases in Milwaukee, Wis., York, Pa., and Kansas City, Mo., but also to groups across the nation. The Milwaukee chapter of Habitat for Humanity received a $200,000 grant for its Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative, helping fund housing projects in the Washington Park community.
